AGM / Open Day 23rd August
Flowers Grown in Scotland will be hosting an annual open day as well as an AGM for current members on Tuesday 23rd August at Tomnah'a Market Garden *. Please use the link to confirm your attendance so we can plan for refreshments.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
- 11am - 11:30am........AGM for current FGIS members
- 11:30am - 12pm........Welcome and FGIS round up
- 12pm - 1pm...............Lunch**
- 1pm - 2:30pm...........Tour of Tomnah'a led by Cristy Gilbert including questions
- 2:30pm - 3:30pm.....Tea & Cake and a Q&A
- 3:30pm....…………......Close
Topics of discussion include analysing the results from the census, re-visiting the challenges set out at the last meeting, social media takeovers and sticker ordering.
Parking and indoor toilets available. Please wear suitable footwear.
We will also be selling plants & plugs to raise funds for the group. These will all have plant passports.
*Lunch will be provided however there is also on-site catering facilities should you prefer
** This event is for all commercial Scottish cut flower growers and relevant industry/government bodies.
